The current COVID-19 crisis is affecting families all over the Chattanooga region and the world. Folks are losing hours at work and even losing their jobs. Those who work in the service industry--servers, bartenders, construction workers, entertainment providers, hotel workers--and those who work in manufacturing (among other industries) are going to be hit hard. So are many other people. Our safety net just isn't strong enough to catch everyone. Those of us who are secure have a duty to help those in need.
The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is one organization supporting those in need.
