I have been very blessed in my life and never knew what being hungry and not able to find food really felt like until a couple of years ago. I stood in an empty kitchen and cried at 230 in the morning bc I was so hungry I couldn't sleep...although I was blessed then to even have a kitchen to stand in, I had never known real hunger...the kind that woke you up, made you sick, and weak...and cry.
I never want anyone to feel the way I felt that night...so I'm going to try to make as much of a difference as I can. Help me to make that difference. Help me keep someone else from that emptiness...
