Help Us Fight The COVID-19 pandemic!

As you see pictures of empty store shelves, remember up to 1 in 5 people overall – and 1 in 4 children – in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia face hunger as a result of the pandemic. Stocking up isn’t possible for them when putting food on the table is a daily struggle. The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is preparing for a possible 30% increase in the need for our services and anticipate an additional cost of up to $100,000 every month to cover the growing need caused by the coronavirus and the economic impact that will follow.

A movement led by the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Operation Feed Our Neighbors will address this critical need, but only with the support of the community through gifts of financial donations and volunteer time. $1 helps provide 4 meals and of every dollar donated, 95 cents goes straight to food and programs.

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we live. We all feel more vulnerable than ever as we see how intertwined our society is. As we support each other by practicing safe health habits please support the Chattanooga Area Food Bank in helping the children, families and seniors who most need it during this time.
