In the Chattanooga Area Food Bank's 20-county service area, up to 1 in 5 people overall and more than 1 in 4 children
could face hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CAFB has experienced a 30% increase in the need for their services, and are now providing long-term assistance to thousands of people affected by the pandemic’s economic impact.
Chattanooga Area Food Bank's, Operation Feed Our Neighbors will address this critical need, but only with the support of the community through gifts of financial donations, food donations, and volunteer time. $1 helps provide 4 meals and of every dollar donated, 95 cents goes straight to food and programs.
You can also drop off NON-perishable items in the CAFB box located on the front porch of 1110 Dartmouth Street (near the six-way intersection). In addition to dry food and cans, consider donating diapers, pet food, baby food, laundry detergent, and paper goods such as toilet paper or paper towels.
