In the Chattanooga Area Food Bank's 20-county service area of Southeast Tennessee and
Northwest Georgia, up to 1 in 5 people overall and more than 1 in 4 children
could face hunger due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many times children suffer more based on circumstances they simple can't control same as the parents. A person never knows when and how things can change within a blink of an eye, but it's always good to share, care and give back. Our programs are all about helping one another, volunteering and community service . Our participants have supported the Chattanooga Area Food Bank for the entire Summer 2020, and now they are ready to continue community service by reaching out to you!
A movement led by the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Operation Feed Our Neighbors will address this critical need, but only with the support of the community through gifts of financial donations and volunteer time. $1 helps provide 4 meals and of every dollar donated, 95 cents goes straight to food and programs.
The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we live. Please be safe and know that you are loved! As we support each other by practicing safe health habits please support the Chattanooga Area Food Bank in helping the children, families and seniors who most need it during this time.
